The eleventh annual conference Our Security Cannot Be Taken for Granted took place on March 12, exactly 25 years since the Czech Republic joined NATO. The most anticipated speakers were the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, and the 42nd President of the United States of America, Bill Clinton (served in 1993-2001). Among the speakers were the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský, Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic Jana Černochová, Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Czech Republic Lt Gen Karel Řehka, former Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Army Gen (Ret) Jiří Šedivý, National Security Adviser Tomáš Pojar or former NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson and others.
