Thanks to the NATO Days in Ostrava, after a many months of covid break, we were able to hold this year’s first “Meet NATO” study excursion. The excursions are being prepared for pupils and students by the NATO Information Center in Prague in cooperation with the Moravian-Silesian Region. Four school took this exceptional opportunity to see US Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps strategic aircraft and to debate with their crews directly at Leoš Janáček Airport in Ostrava. The soldiers were able to talk about the North Atlantic Alliance and the cooperation of members within this organization to almost two hundred students.
