Domestic and foreign pilots participating in the NATO Days in Ostrava met hundreds of pupils and students at twelve secondary and elementary schools during intensive three-day visits to cities in the Moravian-Silesian region. This year, for example, a German crew from a Sea Lynx helicopter or American crews from four aircraft, namely C-5, C-17, B-52 and KC-135, visited the schools. At the same time, school students had the opportunity to present their cities and their schools, chat with foreign guests in German and English, and in some cases go out to lunch or play volleyball with them. We are preparing talks as part of the IC NATO Joint Sky project – Our Security Cannot Be Taken for Granted in cooperation with the Moravian-Silesian Region and with the support of the PPF Foundation. The schools have prepared a photo gallery and articles from the visits, which are available at the links below.
