Castle Guard aren’t just soldiers in guardhouses. And that is exactly what another of “Our Security Cannot Be Taken for Granted” for schools excursion was about. This time, students of the Rakovník Secondary School of Agriculture took part in it.
They learned about the training and equipment needed for the external security of the Prague Castle area and of the residence of the President of the Czech Republic, saw the abilities of service dogs in detaining people and searching for explosives, saw also ceremonial uniforms, rifles and sabers, as well as motorcycles used to accompany top Czech and foreign dignitaries. And at the end, they could see the cathedral of St. Vitus.
