The students of the Secondary Technical School Přerov took part in an excursion to the barracks of the 7th Mechanized Brigade “Dukelská” in Hranice as part of the “Our Security Cannot Be Taken for Granted” project for schools. This year they celebrate 170 years since the construction of the first buildings. Within the campus, the students visited the oval where Emil Zátopek trained, the stables, the Academicians’ Memorial, the Chapel of St. Barbara, and the barracks museum. They were able to try shooting pistols and see the medical training of soldiers in the field. The project “Our safety is not a matter of course” for schools is supported by the PPF Foundation.
