Commander of the 43rd Airborne Regiment, Lt. Col. Petr Matouš, discussed with the students of the Karviná Gymnasium the role of the army in the defence of the state, aspects of Czech membership in NATO and its advantages, for example in connection with the purchase of F-35 aircraft, as well as his work in foreign missions and at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic. The lecture was prepared by NATO Information Centre and this time took place at the premises of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Prague.
