Defense and security are an integral part of the agenda of the president of the Czech Republic, who, according to the constitution, represents the republic externally and is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Jagello 2000 – IC NATO therefore, even before the current presidential elections, in cooperation with iDNES.cz organized a debate of presidential candidates on the topic of foreign security policy, thus following on from the events that took place before the elections in 2013 and before the elections in 2018.
